The Chairman's Circle-Annual Donors of $1,000 or Greater
Earl B. Abramson, then Chairman of the Board of Trustees, first established the Chairman's Circle, our leadership donor society, in 1989. The Chairman's Circle began as a small group of 20 charter members. Today, more than 100 individuals and couples contribute over $300,000 in unrestricted gifts each year.
Since its inauguration, the Chairman's Circle has raised more than $2 million in unrestricted revenue for the hospital. These funds are applied where they are most needed, and they have played-and continue to play-a vital role in advancing strategically important capital improvements, supporting new and existing clinical programs, and enhancing patient care.
Members of the Chairman's Circle are physicians and nurses. They are leadership volunteers and service volunteers. They belong to the Board of Trustees and the Women's Board. They are community leaders and business leaders. They are grateful patients and family members of grateful patients. Some have been involved with Rush North Shore since its establishment in 1963 and some have had their first experience with the Medical Center in the 21st century. They are diverse in age, background, and the communities they represent.
What members of the Chairman's Circle share is their commitment to the dream of the early visionary leaders who founded the Medical Center 42 years ago. They are the inner circle of philanthropists; they are the major investors in the future of the hospital about which they care so deeply.
Beverley Kroll, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, invites you to share the dream and join the Chairman's Circle, with an annual, unrestricted contributions of $1,000 or greater. You will be invited to attend an annual reception for members of the Chairman's Circle, and your gift will be recognized annually on the Rush North Shore Donor Wall. The levels of giving are:
