Talking on the telephone is taken for granted here, but in Iraq where Americans are so far away from home, conversation with family and friends becomes truly precious.

Rush North Shore Medical Center registered nurse Valerie Kramer of the cardiopulmonary rehab department came to learn just that when she wanted to do something special for her brother who currently is on his third tour of duty in Iraq.
