 Radiology
is the high-tech science that allows doctors to see inside the
body through state-of-the-art imaging equipment and expertise.
By doing so, doctors can accurately diagnose diseases and work
together to treat a variety of conditions.
To the radiology staff at Rush North Shore, this science has
become second nature. Our expert radiologists and specially
trained technicians strive to serve our patients with a combination
of clinical excellence and compassionate care. Our goal is to
provide the highest quality testing and treatment, utilizing
the safest, most effective methods available.
Our staff performs many of the tests and procedures that doctors
order, including:
- X-rays
- Mammograms
- MRIs
- CT scans
- Ultrasound exams

- Radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology

Training Opportunities
Like other departments at Rush North Shore, the Department of
Radiology is dedicated to training the next generation of medical
professionals. In partnership with Triton College, our staff
provides training and guidance for future radiology technologists.

We Put Your Needs First
At Rush North Shore, we offer radiology services specially geared
toward a woman's needs. This includes:
- Mammograms
- Computer Assisted Diagnosis of Mammograms, through a special
national research study
- Breast ultrasound.
