There was a time when women's health was nearly considered an afterthought in medicine. But today, there has never been a stronger focus on advancing women's healthcare throughout the life cycle.

At Rush North Shore, the mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is to provide compassionate, high-level care to the women in our community at every stage of their lives.

Our staff offers comprehensive services, from routine physical examinations to advanced, multidisciplinary treatment plans for cancer, endometriosis, infertility, and dozens of other conditions.

Recent additions to the department's faculty have brought nationally recognized expertise in the ares of minimally invasive pelvic surgery and menopausal medicine, thereby expanding the clincal capabilities available to patients.
